A renewable resource is a natural good that isnt in demand and is easy to replace.(1) Non-renewable resources are resources that are in high demand and are hard to replace like fossil fuels.(1) Water and wind are renewable because we can get really easy but something like oil or gas, we have to buy with alot of money from the goverment.(1) The earth's energy changes even with the slightest change, like if the ocean and wind currents pick up heat from tropics and moves it to the higher latitudes.(2) People today depend on gas for cars and electricity, which are both non-renewable resources. But gas can effect the envirment just by polluting the air and electricity could decrease the coal because we are burning it way to much. Gas helps us get to where we have to go but with the cost of gas it is horrible ($4.08) for people to keep on buying it.(2) This info will help us in the future because we won't have to spend so much on certain non-renewable resources that we don't need, even though some people will say that we can't live without certain things which is false.

Final Exam # 2
The solar system we know is located in the outer reaches of the Milky Way galaxy.(1) The Milky Way galaxy is approximentally 100,000 light years long and in center it is 3,ooo light years tall.(1) The age of the Milky Way is about 4.6 billion years old.(1) The big bang theory is the effort to explain how and when the universe was formed. The think that the universe was formed about 13.5 million years ago.(2) The microwave radiation gave f electrons that are still floating in space(2). They find out how old the electrons are, then they could find out the exact age of the universe.(2) The dust and gas creates brighter and new stars that we see every year.(2) The heat balances the gravity of each star in the galaxy because of the outward force it has on the stars.(3) This will help us in the future because it will show us eventually how the galaxy was formed and when it was.

Final Exam # 1
A convergent boundary is when both plates come together.(1) When this happens that means it will form mountains. A divergent boundary is when both of the plates come apart.(1) When this happens it will form valley's or rifts.(1) But they could also form earthquakes and volcanoes. A transform boundary is when both of the plates slide past each others just barely rubbing up against.(1) Transform boundaries are known as faults, the most famous fault is San Andreas Fault.(1)
All of these boundaries have other features like the mid-oceanic ridges, which are underwater mountains ranges basically. These are caused when the ocean floor starts to spread part.(1) Plate Boundaries are responsable for the floor spreading, earthquakes, volcanoes, subduction zones because when the plates move then that creates a certain type of boundary and which ever type it creates then that feature happens above earth because of all the pressure forcing it upwards.(1)
By know how and where the plates move the most is a big plus. So that will help us in the future. But some my argue that you don't know when they are going to come so it would be real tough to predict when even though you mostly know where.
Shield volcanoes are low velocity eruptions but can go a long distance in traveling. (2) A Stratovolcano is a type of vocano that is shaped kind of like a cinder cone but with ash.Like for example Mt. Fuji in Japan.(2) Cinder cone volcanoes are smaller types of volcanoes that come out of the small vent up at the top.(2) 80% of these volcaones erupt in the ring of fire. This happens because the ring of fire has the most plate tectonic activity around it(2). There is so many volcanoes, ridges.etc, out there that whenever theres any type of activity something will happen. The worst type of volcano to have is a any type of the Ring of Fire because of how active they are out there in the Pacific Ocean.(2)

Activity 5
Before I began this activity I didn't know very much about the Coriolis effect. This activity made us find out what the Coriolis effect really was. I learned that the Coriolis effect doesn't always have to refer just to the earth, it can refer to anything that rotates. Also i learned that the northern and southern hemisphere rotate in the opposite directions. The earths water can't keep up with the solid earth surface. This relates to cyclones by the winds and the ocean currents because of how they can help form a cyclone or an hurricane.

Cyclones
A Cyclone is an area of low atmospheric pressure characterized by inward spiraling winds that rotate counter clockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere of the Earth. A cyclone may also be classified as a tropical storm, tornado, or an extratropical cyclones. Also depending on the location of the cyclone it may be referred to as hurricane, typhoon or cyclonic storm. Cold-core cyclones form due to the nearby presence of an upper level trough, which increases divergence over an area that induces upward motion and surface low pressure.

Greenhouse Effect
Before this activity i thought that the sun should stilll have enough rays to get through the clouds and heat the earth. In this activity , i learned that the sun has a very hard time to get through the clouds when it is a cloudy day. The suns rays are not able to get through the clouds , so that cant heat up the earth as capable as it could be. So that will usually lead us with a cloudy or rainy day.The process of the sun heating up a planet is called the greenhouse effect. This effects a cyclones because the sun will heat up the some of the water and then the other water that is cold will mix and then start a cyclone from the currents.

Why Mother Nature Is Playing April Fools On Us
This whole winter and spring, mother nature has been unpredictable because we can never tell what the weather is going to be. I thought that the main reason we have got bad weather is because of the jet streams that come down from Canada. There is two jet streams one that goes down to through California and through the southwest and up towards the east coast. Then the northern one comes through the North and South Dakota and may go through Michigan if one delays the other one and forces it to go up into Michigan screwing up our weather. Also the ocean currents can effect our weather because of how they have winds that force the jet streams to move up or down depending on where the current is. We also get alot of our weather from the Great Lakes because of the lake effect we get. The La Nina is a current from the pacific ocean. The La Nina current relates to cyclones because of the ablilty to force cyclones because of there strong current.
